Patching Instructions

First, you must uninstall your current pRO client from your computer to avoid any incompatibility problems with the new and future patches.

•	Click on Start and then go click on Control Panel.
•	Select the Add/Remove Programs option
•	Scroll down and look for Ragnarok Online and click on Remove. Follow the appropriate steps to uninstall Ragnarok Online from your computer. Select Yes when it asks you if you're sure that you want to remove Ragnarok Online.
•	Now go to the folder where Ragnarok Online was installed. This is usually C:\Program Files\Gravity\RagnarokOnline. Look for the GameGuard folder and delete it. Just right-click on this folder with your mouse and select Delete.
•	You have now successfully uninstalled Ragnarok Online from your computer. This will ensure that your installation from the Ragnarok Online Episode XIV Hugel CD is more compatible with future patches. Proceed to the next step on how to install Ragnarok Online Episode XIV: Hugel from the CD.

Now that you have removed the old copy of the Ragnarok Online client, you can cleanly install the Ragnarok Online Episode XIV: Hugel client from the CD. Follow these instructions to properly install the game.

•	Place the pRO Ragnarok Online Episode XIV: Hugel CD into your CD drive. The Ragnarok Online installer program should run. If it does not, click on the Ragnarok icon in your CD-ROM drive.
•	Once the Menu appears, Click on Install Button.
•	You should see this window appear. Click on Next.
•	Select the directory where you want Ragnarok Online installed or use the default program location C:\Program Files\Gravity\RagnarokOnline\ for installation. Click on Next to continue.
•	Choose the type of Setup. Installing the Full Version is recommended. Then click on Next.
•	The installer program will ask for a confirmation of your install setup. If everything is ok, click on Install.
•	Insert Disk 2 when prompted to do so, then click OK.
•	Insert Disk 3 when prompted to do so, then click OK.
•	When installation is complete, click on Finish to exit.
