One of the festivities held in Hugel is the Monster Race. Six pet monsters (Poring, Lunatic, Savage Babe, Baby Desert Wolf, Deviruchi and Baphomet Jr.) will compete with each other and race to the finish line. While they’re at it, they will experience status effects such as Stun and Sleep that will delay them from getting into the finish line. You can join the single monster race and bet on a single monster or the Dual Monster race where you can bet for the first 2 monsters that will reach the finish line. Invite your friends and win lots of Marvelous Medals.
These brothers greet you at the entrance to the monster races. Just talk to one of them if you wish to enter.
Eckar Ellebird takes you to the single monster race.
Eckar Erenes takes you to the double monster race.
The Entry fee is 2000z if you enter before the races begin. It drops to 500z if you enter after the races begin (you cannot bet once the races begin). An announcement will appear when a race is about to begin or end.
Note: If you already had a leftover Monster Ticket before entering, you will lose it.
If you've come to bet, talk to the Ticket Helper. (Note: If the race has started or ended, the Ticket Helper is not present). You have 5 minutes to complete your betting before the race stars.
Bet on Monster (Number) - Places your wager on the monster selected. In the Dual Monster race, you have to wager on a monster twice. (There is no order in which both monsters have to win)
Monster Stat - Shows you the Luck and Stamina (HP) values of all monsters. For people who wish to bet scientifically.
Once you have made your bets, you receive a Monster Ticket. Don't lose this, as you won't be able to claim your prize if you win without it!
The race has started! Cheer for your monster of choice and pray he wins!
During the race, the Ticket Helper and Medal Distributor NPCs will disappear.
Also, if you are disconnected or leave the arena at any time after you have received a ticket but have not ended a race, you will lose your ticket!
