Hugel comes with an in-game auction system where players can put their rare and expensive items up for bid. Players can set the starting bid price (minimum 10,000,000 zeny) and the buying price (auto-buy) for up to five of their items at a time. Players also have the option to check in and sell items with current bids even before the time expires. Unlike the Merchant skill Vending which has a limit of 99,999,999 zeny for prices, bids and prices in the auction system can go as high as 999,999,999 zeny. All transactions (zeny/items) from the auction will be done through the new in-game Mail system.

There is a minimum starting price of 10,000,000 zeny per item placed in the auction hall. This system was put in place as a means for players to sell extremely rare items above the 99,999,999 zeny limit of the Merchant skill Vending. The auction system is not meant to replace regular vending by merchants and it will not allow item stacking nor will it allow players to register consumable items. There is also a fee of 12,000 zeny for every hour an item is placed on auction. This fee will be paid when you first register your item and determine how long it will be up for auction. Items with a value lower than 10,000,000 zeny should still be sold through regular vending.

How do I access the Auction Hall?
There are four cities that have access to the auction halls. These cities are Prontera, Morroc, Juno, and Lighthalzen. Each town has an Auction Hall Guide NPC which you talk to in order to enter the auction hall. Simply click on the NPC and answer ‘Yes’ when asked if you’d like to enter the auction hall. The location and coordinates of these NPCs are listed below:

Prontera (prontera 218, 120) Morroc (morocc 182 95)
Lighthalzen (lighthalzen 205 169) Juno (yuno 129 116)
